Very Important message for AVG Free Antivirus users.

This message only applies to AVG Antivirus Free users. If you have the paid for version of AVG please ignore this message.

Those of you that use AVG Free may have noticed a pop up message saying that AVG 7.5 has now been replaced by AVG 8.0 and that your version will stop updating itself after the 1^st of June (or words to that effect).

This does not mean that your free trial has expired and that you need to purchase the full paid for version at this stage. It simply means that AVG have brought out a new updated (better) version that has replaced your current one. The new version has been out a few weeks and has already been nominated for an award.

The choice is yours; you can follow the link at the top of this page and buy the excellent full version with the added benefits of it's own Firewall and anti spam etc, or you you can simply go to http://free.grisoft.com/ and download the latest version of 8.0 AVG Free and install it. Either way; your old version will be uninstalled automatically.

It is important that you do act on this email as your old Free version will gradually run out of date after it stops updating from June 1^st.
