All About Us

History

Graham Roberts has lived in the Clowne/ Barlborough region with his family since 1979, initially relocating to the area to fulfil a position as manager and senior fault finder/ analyst to a team of electronic engineers. After 25 years service with his employer, he left in 1999 to focus on Microsoft based systems and networks, contracting with businesses large and small.

During this period, Graham was made aware of the growing need locally for a more personal, reliable and mature IT service that could support all age groups and levels of ability within the community. Many people it seemed were tired of ever changing and confusing IT terminology and the faceless services provided by some of the larger computer companies. Computer users spoke of the lack of ongoing impartial advice and assistance available from some IT retailers, even after new equipment or software had been purchased from them. Consequently he started Home Computer Services.

He takes pride in offering a friendly and highly professional repair and support service on line, over the telephone, and in his customer's homes or offices. The use of simple jargon-free language and fully explained methods make the service suitable for all levels of PC user from total beginners upwards. In addition he employs the very latest repair and diagnostic techniques, tools and programs available to help resolve his customers computer problems.
